Public Interest Lawyer Wins $500,000 Genius Grant

Can a public-interest lawyer do such inspiring work as to earn a $500,000 grant? Look at Marie-Therese Connolly, the policy advocate responsible for the Elder Justice Act, litigator, writer, and now one of the 22 winners for 2011 of a half-million dollar "genius" grant from the MacArthur Foundation.
