According to a story in today's Wall Street Journal by Peter Lattman, the majesty and the horror of the bar exam will soon be coming to a movie house near you:
The soon-to-be released documentary, called "A Lawyer Walks into a Bar," chronicles the lives of six wannabe attorneys as they prepare to take California's bar exam, long considered one of the toughest in the country.
One key on the MBE is to analyze the fact pattern first, decide on your own answer to the interrogatory, then skim the answer choices for the one closest to your own answer. Don't just glance at the fact pattern and then let yourself get twisted around by the answer choices.
You have memorized, you have reviewed, you have learned to manage your time, and you have practiced. You are athletes. Today is the day before game day.
This morning, before noon, after exercise, just lightly recite your memorized rules. Quickly skim your class notes for the most important subjects. Do not review any course materials after noon.
